In this 90 minute workshop we will use various exercises to keep the hands pliable, but we will primarily focus on the feet and lower legs of the body. Using the hands we will open the superficial layers of the skin, move more deeply into the muscle/ligament/fascia layers of the legs and feet and finish with greater movement articulating the ankle and the multiple joints of the feet. We will use a variety of techniques and tools, chairs and pillows in support of our own bodies while going deeper into the feet. Creating greater awareness and groundedness in the feet allows for the body to navigate movement in a way that increases stability and balance, and decreases risk of tripping/falling.
